Radial turbines and compressor wheels often get eroded or damaged during normal operation through failures from oil supply or foreign object damages. We use laser sensors from Mitutoyo Scanning Probe Styli to provide 3D measuring for accurate size and form indication to give this information to CNC lathes so repaired items can be cut and machined back to the correct sizes and profiles.
